  • Project objective
    • - The overall goal of the project is the development of two 4G wireless transceivers IP - for high speed applications (mobile Internet) and low-power low-speed applications (IEEE 802.15.4 ZigBee).
  • Project Contents & Scope
    • The obligations of RFME laboratory :
      • - Low-power small size ZigBee Transceiver (RF and base-band analog)
    • development, including :
      • a) System analysis: architecture development and block-level
    • specs generation :
      • b) Blocks development: LNA, Mixer, VCO, PLL, DA, Switch, Balun, VGA, LPF.
  • Project Result
    • - The following building blocks have been designed and fabricated using TSMC 0.18 um CMOS technology: Down-mixer integrated with Quadrature-VCO, VGA, VCO, Down-mixer, LPF and RF Tx section, composed of up-mixer, Driver-amplifier and LO generation scheme.
